Dave from Followers of Christ Church at Nebraska State Penitentiary:
“I worshipped with Followers of Christ for six years until I transferred to Community Corrections. Being in the fellowship helped keep me going, it felt like family. I don’t know what I would have done without it. Helping in worship with the scripture lessons, and leading songs with the band meant a lot to me. I am grateful that Resurrection Lutheran in Gretna accepted me as a member while I am an inmate and they still stay in touch with me. Followers of Christ is a great support system!”

Terry from the FEAST (Friends Eating and Serving, Singing, Studying, Together):
“The FEAST program was a godsend for myself and my family. I’ve been in prison 20 years and it was the FEAST that first allowed me to connect with my family in a wholesome environment. Sponsors, inmates and their families all made my parents feel welcomed. It meant the world to me and them. No other program accomplishes this - in uniting families through the church.”
